As of now we are 100% online only in our gatherings, with all small groups in homes closed as well.

This means that the church (YOU) are 100% embedded in your community where your light can shine to all around.

We may all be maintaining social distancing but that does not mean social isolation. Use social media platforms to connect, and hey even older technology brought to us by Alexander Graham Bell – give someone a call. You can even go really old school – drop someone a note, send a letter, or talk to your neighbour over the fence – no data or phone coverage issues with these.

Go in confidence, go in peace, go in assurance that God has got this, go and love, go and share kindness, go into all your world.

Go retro!

Martins Luther’s approach as he faced the “Black Death’ plague:

I shall ask God mercifully to protect us. Then I shall fumigate, help purify the air, administer medicine and take it.

I shall avoid places and persons where my presence is not needed in order not to become contaminated  and thus perchance inflict and pollute others and so cause their death as a result of my negligence.

If God should wish to take me, He will surely find me and I have done what He has expected of me and so I am not responsible for either my own death or the death of others.

If my neighbour needs me however I shall not avoid place or person but will go freely as stated above.

See this is such a God-fearing faith because it is neither brash nor foolhardy and does not tempt God.

These may be new times for us, but history shows that that situations like this have happened before. Let’s take note how believers responded in other pandemics and have the conviction to be salt and light today, and love our neighbours just as well.

We support all the Government’s measures for the health and safety of people in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic. In light of recent Government updates, the following will be implemented into our Sunday service until further notice:

1. Sanctuary capacity is limited to 70 persons, with a maximum overflow of 29 in the dining area.

2. There will be no children’s church

3. There will be no food or beverages served.

4. Hygiene protocols (hand washing and sanitizing) to be followed upon arrival and departure.

5. Social distancing rules to be followed.

We are also exploring online delivery platforms for those who choose to self-exclude and are working to have these in place as soon as possible.
